What does my Piggie Come With
All of our piggies, whether young or old go to their new home with:
a small bag of pellets they're currently on and used to to help avoid any stomach upsets,
a small bag of hay so they have a cosey first night away,
a contract for confidence in us and us, confidence in you,
a care leaflet,
(optional) a Piggie adoption certificate (perfect for children)
The ability to purchase bedding, additional hay and more,

Unlike many breeders, we offer a 'bring back' option which is outlined in our contract.
This is essentially where, if at any point you are unable to care for your guinea pig, no long want your guinea pig or any other reason. We will, no questions asked, take back your Piggie no matter their age.
(We will not purchase piggies back or offer any refunds for original purchase)
Healthy Piggies
We ensure all of our piggies are in tip top condition and are of excellent temperament before pairing piggies together for mating.

We ensure our piggies have an unlimited supply of meadow hay, high quality pellets and a variety of fresh veggies fed daily. They all get handled regularly and have plenty of treats and toys to keep them enjoying life and mentally stimulated. Only the best for our piggies!

Our piggies undergo regular health-checks which may include baths and nail trims.
All piggies leaving All About The Furries will undergo a health check.
Our Breeding Program
There are a few things our Piggies must adhere to before we consider pairing them for mating.
They should be of good conformation, healthy skin, nails, ears, nose and eyes, free of allergies.
They should be of correct age for their first litter to ensure their pelvis is not fused together: this will help the piggies give birth naturally.
Piggies should also not be too old, nor over-bred.
We ensure any Piggie with us who we intend to breed more than once has enough rest time between litters and their health comes before anything else!

Our pairings
We match up boars to sows who we think are suitable, whether this be for outstanding looks, temperament, coat type or breed to bring as healthy baby piggies into the world we can.
Rescue Piggies
From time to time we get rescue Piggies in too, looking for their forever home.
Some will come in neglected and need veterinary care, love and time to heel. Others come in pregnant, and some are just not getting the time they need.
All rescue Piggies will be homed in the same away as our home bred Piggies, with a contract, so they always have somewhere to go should they need it.
Sometimes we don't know the exact history of a Piggie, but if you're homing one, we will tell you as much as we do know!
In 2020 we took in a group of 6 Piggies, mixed sex and had, luckily just one litter of babies. Some of them are still with us, others have been homed.
You can help support us by sending the Piggies a deserved gift.
Contact Point
If you decide to have a Piggie from All About The Furries, we will always be here for advice, guidance and support should you need it.
If for any reason you're unable to keep your Piggie, they should come back to us either as a forever home or we will re-home them once they are ready. The piggies welfare comes first.
